Mile High Chapter - Board of Directors
Lisa Buckley
Ms. Lisa Buckley assumed the
role of President of American Automation Building Solutions, Inc. in
November 2002 (www.americasautomation.com). American Automation
Building Solutions, Inc. specializes in Cyber Security, Physical
Security, and Building Automation Systems. Their clients include the
Department of Homeland Security; Fort Carson; United States Air
Force Academy, Shaw Construction, Hensel Phelps Construction, and T-
Rex among others.
In her capacity as President, she has responsibility for Business
Development, Finance, Human Resources, and operations. American
Automation Building Solutions has been recognized as the fastest
growing minority firm in Colorado in 2004; and ranked among the
largest privately held businesses in Colorado in 2004 and 2005.
Ms. Buckley is a member of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, and
serves as the Vice Chair of the Defense Committee; COMTO Colorado;
The Society of American Military Engineers Pikes Peak Chapter,
Treasurer; Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and the Colorado
8(a) Association.
An active professional and Mother, Ms. Buckley works with her
husband in the business, Ishmail N. Buckley, who serves as CEO. They
live in Castle Rock, CO and have one son, Malcolm, four years old.

Arlo Gravseth
Program
Director, Operations and Systems Integration, Western Operations,
National Intelligence Business Unit L-3 Communications. Arlo has
spent 30 years in the aerospace industry as a satellite designer,
advanced programs manager and business development manager and
devoted10 years as a USMC Naval Flight Officer in EA6 and RF4
aircraft. He is a member of AAS, Rocky Mountain Chapter and chaired
the 1989 G&C conference at Keystone Colorado. Arlo graduated with a
BSEE from the University of Colorado. Arlo has served the last four
years as a member of the NDIA Mile High Chapter Board of Directors.
Robert McDonald
Mr. McDonald is a Regional
Vice President for Versar, Inc. and has extensive experience in
conducting vulnerability assessments, security planning, and risk
management programs.
Mr. McDonald has more than 30 years experience conducting risk
management, homeland defense and security and vulnerability
assessments, environmental assessments, and regulatory analysis and
permitting. He is a licensed Sandia National Laboratory Risk
Assessment Methodology-Water (RAM-WSM) and a licensed Sandia
National Laboratory Risk Assessment Methodology-Chemical Facilities
(RAM-CFSM ) trainer, and has recently been involved in conducting
security/vulnerability assessments and preparing emergency response
plans for several water utilities, waste water facilities,
transportation systems and electrical cooperatives throughout the
United States. Versar recently completed a state-wide vulnerability
assessment for the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Mr. McDonald was responsible for developing a vulnerability
assessment methodology to evaluate over 30,000 bridges and
facilities within the State of Illinois. Results of the assessment
were used by IDOT to enhance security measures at critical sites.
Since 9/11, He has participated in several homeland defense,
security planning and emergency response projects for Federal
Government agencies, municipalities and the private industry. He has
made several presentations at conferences on security and disaster
management planning, and currently writes a monthly security column
for the Natural Gas and Electricity Magazine.

Douglas L. Hartmann, Mile High Chapter President
Mr. Hartmann is a results-oriented, Corporate
Executive with over 24 years of professional leadership, technical
aptitude, and business management expertise in executive and
engineering capacities. His demonstrated accomplishments in
strategic management, organizational development, new business
development, and productivity improvement are aimed at corporate
success and customer satisfaction. Mr. Hartmann has directed the
engineering and business operation activities of functional and
matrix organizations while managing programs exceeding $120 million
for such companies as Scitor, ManTech International, Lockheed
Martin, Siemens and the United States Air Force. Mr. Hartmann’s
leadership and community business influence was demonstrated when he
was named one of Colorado’s most influential business leaders by The
Denver Business Journal at the “Outstanding forty under 40” business
leaders ceremony in 2001.
Mr. Hartmann is a graduate from the University of Maryland where he
attained a Bachelor degree in Computer Studies. Doug holds a Masters
of Science in Management Information Systems from Bowie State
University as well as an Information Systems Analyst’s Certificate.
He also received an Avionics Systems Technology degree from the USAF.

Mark J. Meagher, Mile High Chapter Vice
President of Programs
Mark J. Meagher is the Office Managing
Partner for the Denver office of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP. He
joined the firm in 1988 and is a member of the Government Contracts
Department. Mr. Meagher's practice encompasses government contracts
litigation and counseling. He is experienced in defending against
civil fraud allegations, resolving contractor disputes with the
Department of Defense and the Department of Energy and handling cost
reimbursement claims against the government. Mr. Meagher often
deals with cost allocation and recovery questions arising under the
Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards. He
pursues claims against the government for contract changes and
related damages. He has also defended clients against product
liability and tort actions. In June 2004, he was named by the
Denver Business Journal as "Best of the Bar" in the category of
government contracts law.
Mr. Meagher is a 1982 graduate of Yale University, and a graduate,
cum laude, of Albany Law School, where he was editor-in-chief of the
Law Review. Mark served as VP of Programs for the Chapter in 2006
and 2007.

Chris
Hassett, Mile High Chapter Vice President of Treasury
Chris Hassett is an independent, fee-based
financial advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC. Mr. Hassett has earned
the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant and Accredited
Retirement Plan Consultant. His practice encompasses Comprehensive
Financial Planning and Succession and Continuation Planning for the
small business owner. Mr. Hassett also consults employees from large
corporations on distribution strategies for qualified retirement
plans.
Mr. Hassett is a 1993 graduate of the
University of Colorado, Boulder. He considers himself an
Aerospace/Defense industry ‘junkie’ and has also served to help on
the committee to start Space Journey in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Mr. Hassett lives in Castle Rock with his wife Heidi and their three
children.
Cathleen A. Strabala, Mile High Chapter Vice President of
Communications
Cathy Strabala
has been with the Chenega family of companies for over six years,
currently serving as Director of Development – Western Region for
Chenega Federal Systems. Ms. Strabala also serves as a member of
their technical staff. Prior to CFS Cathy worked in technical
positions with Chenega Technology Services Corporation, SAIC, and
Litton/TASC focusing in software quality. A charter member of the
Mile High Chapter, Cathy has previously served as Vice President of
Communications and as Chapter President.
Mick Davis, Mile High Chapter Vice President of Membership
Mick Davis is the Chief Operating & Security Officer for Data
Fusion Corporation (DFC) a Colorado based R&D Company whose primary
focus is on the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence
Community winning over 40 government contracts. Approximately half
of DFC employees hold doctorates in scientific fields, such as
applied mathematics, physics, or electrical engineering. Core
competencies include general applied mathematics especially
Multivariate Statistical Signal Processing, Decision Theory,
Information Theory, Computational Linear Algebra, and Differential
Equations, as well as physical science disciplines such as Physical
Chemistry and Spectroscopy, and also Software Engineering and
Development.
Prior to his present role, Mr. Davis’s professional enterprises
include private venture capital placement, nationally known equities
and currency traders, venture capital firms and corporations
supporting the Department of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and
the Office of the President of the United States.
Mr. Davis was educated at the University of Maine in Liberal Arts in
Cognitive Psychology. He started his professional career as a Naval
Electronic Warfare and Intelligence Operator accumulating nearly
4,000 flight hours as a United States Naval Combat Aircrewman
serving for more than 20 years as a Selected Active Naval Reservist.
He is now an active member of the Army National Guard and works in
the Information Operations with a focus on Risk Assessments,
Vulnerabilities, Technical Threats, Social Engineering and Training
War Fighter`s in the Asymmetric Warfare community.
Mr. Davis operates behind the scenes on a day to day basis serving
on several advisory boards for policy, political candidate
committees, and start-up ventures. He has a deep belief in his
country and a commitment to the service of others. Mick lives in
Centennial, Colorado with his wife Kelly of 19 years and 4 year old
son Nathan.
Dave Fleck, Mile High Chapter Vice President of Social Events
Dave Fleck is the Vice President, Business Development for Lewis
& Fowler, a Management Consulting firm focused on Commercial and
Government opportunities. In his role, Dave is charged with all
aspects of business development, including sales management,
territory expansion, strategic account generation, customer
relationship management and marketing. Dave is an executive with
more than 23 years of experience spearheading the rapid and
sustained growth of leading sales organizations in the technology
industry. Dave gained his expertise in relationship and consultative
selling, setting up and motivating effective sales teams and
formulating strategic sales plans during his highly successful
career in several leadership roles.
Prior to joining Lewis & Fowler, Dave has held positions with
Hewlett-Packard in a Systems Engineering role, DIS Research as a
Senior Sales Executive and Sales Manager, Stratus Technologies as
the Director of Channel Sales for North America and, most recently,
as an Account Manager for CA.
Dave earned his educational credentials from Humboldt State
University in Wildlife Management and at Hayward State University in
Computer Sciences.
Lewis and Fowler Program, Planning, and Controls personnel are
currently engaged with Lockheed Martin: Hubble Soft Capture and
Orion, Honeywell: JPALS and Orion and Ball Aerospace, PMO and ARES I
in the Defense and Space market.
